Hi, I’m Sarah.

I am a freelance online business manager (or OBM for short).

I help manage projects and strategies for creative entrepreneurs, which means getting content plans written down, ideas mapped out, and business operations managed. Together we create the infrastructure around your wonderfully creative and visionary brain to achieve your big business goals instead of constantly putting them on snooze.

I’ve learnt a lot in the last decade across online business management, events planning and digital marketing, delivering everything from large-scale event operations to creating efficient business processes, managing the communities of renowned treasured brands to developing retention marketing strategies for sustainable SMEs.

Now, I am grateful to combine my skills, knowledge and experiences to support each extraordinary creative entrepreneur in building a stronger, scaleable and even more successful business.

If you need a helping hand, get in touch, it’d be great to hear from you!

Portfolio.

My expertise is in managing people, processes and priorities.

The Myth Behind the Manager.

I prioritise helping people.

I have a degree in Events Management, spent a year interning on yachts in the Solent, organised motorsport events at Goodwood Motor Circuit, managed outdoor community events during a pandemic and I’ve met a few royals in my time.

With all of those career pivots, planning was always integral but so was the desire to go the extra mile to help people.

I am always learning something.

My school’s motto was ‘For Life, Not School, We Learn’ and it kinda stuck with me. I usually have my head stuck in a book or I’m learning something new in an online course, because I truly believe that when we stop learning, we stop growing.

My current book focuses on power of mindset and the course is about passive income streams.

I have a passion for relationships.

I’ve been slightly obsessed with how to build long-lasting relationships and growing communities since my dissertation days (well, it was “The Value of Relationship Marketing”).

During my stint in the bizarre world of PR, I put my community management skills to the test and I believe that if you get a community behind you - you can truly rule the world.

Four Final Facts.

Cornwall:

Originally from Devon, Cornwall is now home - I’m always happy to bad mouth seagulls and talk beaches.

Skiing:

I’ve been almost every year since I was four, so being on the side of a snowy mountain is my happy place.

Film Fanatic:

A previous Film Studies student, I watch a new film every week. Hit me up with any recommendations!

Motorsport:

I avidly follow Formula One and Formula E, so I’m usually squealing at the TV on a Sunday race day.
